These three cats (as kittens on the left, and one-year-olds on the right) were part of a litter that became known as the Trashbag Kittens. For those unfamiliar with their story, these three sweethearts, along with two siblings, were found by a good Samaritan last spring, wrapped in two plastic garbage bags and left for dead in a trash bin. A kind man named Willie found them, took them in, and fed them scraps of food until he found Tenth Life. The babies came to us and thrived. We were thrilled that two of them were adopted together into one home, and these three landed together in another home.
The adopter of these three reports: “Just wanted to give you guys an update on our three “Trash Bag” kitties (who now go by Rory, Vincent, and Stormageddon). By our count, they celebrated their first birthday last week. They are completely inseparable, total lovebugs, and VERY chatty with people. Here’s their first photo when we got them (~7 weeks) and one from last week (~1 year). I’m so grateful to Tenth Life for giving my little monsters a second chance. Every day I’m reminded why this work is so important.”We love happy endings!
